Explanation-

We know the ketone on reduction with LiAlH4, produces corresponding alcohol. i.e the OH group is attached to the C=O (Carbonyl C-atom)

So in 5-methyl-3-heptanol, we have the alcohol(-OH) group on the 3rd C-atom. So for the corresponding ketone, the 3rd C-atom should be the Carbonyl group and there should be a methyl (-CH3) grorup on the 5th C-atom

So the possible compound is Compound I
