2.1 Following are the eight guidelines to be followed for a customer generic website:

a) Creating the layout for the first initial page is an important task. Initially, the designer has to outline and give the full detailed description of the first page during the requirement analysis. This is done to ensure that the website has enough required elements to be satisfied for a customer generic website.

b) Explaining in detail the aim and objective of the website before creation. It has to be clearly specified in the requirement analysis page.

c) The full and final explanations of the menu's, buttons, clicks, marquees and other related information that are required to be added in the page is an essential task. The detailed explanation of the whole things is done here.

d) The detailed design of what each link is to forward or navigate and how it is going to affect the customer.

e) Specify in detail the customer centric features. For example, the information regarding what the customer buys, and what additional functionalities are to be added, and on what resolutions the image has to be seen and all.

f) A good content writing for explaining the outcomes of the website. This involves the information about what to write during the major and important events in the website. The description about the product and the contents about the major data in the page.

g) Communicate the purpose of the website in detail in the home page. There should not be any ambiguity in specifying the purpose of the website in the homepage itself. This is a mandatory requirement to satisfy for a customer generic website.

2.2 Following are some of the illustrating challenges for customer generic website:

a) The communication between the website creater and the client should be clear and well understood. The confusion in such a stage should be minimal.

b) A proper communication between the website designers for the making the maintenance work. The maintenance of the website has to be done periodically for ensuring the clear development of a website.

c) The primary aim of a customer generic website is to make it more friendly for a customer. In such a scenario, the website should have clear and concise friendliness by all the means towards a customer.
