Outside a home there is a keypad that will open the garage if the correct six-digit code is entered. How many codes are possible?

In a keypad, there are 10 numbers. Since the correct code is 6 digits, there are 6 positions have to be filled out of 10 numbers. Since, it is not given anything about repetition , I assume that  repetition is allowed.

Therefore any number from 0-9 can come in any of the 6 positions, the number of codes possible is

10x10x10x10x10x10=10^{6}=1000000 ways.
