As compare to last deccade us average unemployment rate was lower comparatively as in last decade it was around 6 % or above on average, while 5% around in this decade .but recent slow down in global GDP again increase it to more than 10%.during recession in 2007-2009 it was around 9% .
Recently recession is due to covid 19 and cyclic slow down in global gdp , which reflect in job cut and thus increasing inflation.
