Africa is one the 7 largest continent of the world. There are more natural resources in africa than imagined . Inspection is a technique to get information about the area and thorough survey. Despite various techniques mandated for inspection, inspection visit plays a major role in assessing the country risks . Inspection techniques involves :

1. Preliminary investigation of the area i.e reconnaissance is carried out.

2. The firms and its members move to the country or place where they are tend to inspect.

3. They meet with local authorities, government officials, contractors to study the problem in risk association.

4. It also involves the process of taking the clients to the place to show their progress .

By physically present in the site , one can get satisfaction in the process .

B.

There are also various techniques like Quantitative analysis , delphi techniques which are involved in assessing the risk factors of the country. I would suggest Quantitative analysis for inspection. The factors which i support are:

1. It involves background check and historical data of the project .

2. Pre existing conditions of the site can be found.

3. It also invloves the process of regressive analysis of the entire site by considering various factors.

4. Project sensitivity and risk factors , environmental impacts are covered under this.

So i suggest this technique for assessing country risks.
