based on your own experience have you already felt a strong social & cultural distance between students and teachers at the college?  

According your answer do think is there is a particular reason that possibly smooth this distance at the College?

Based on my own experience, I have found that there is a strong cultural and social distance between the teachers and students at the college. I do think there is a particular reason and it can be accounted to the differences in the cultural background of the teachers and students. This cultural differences have created a gap between the teachers and students. However, removing the cultural differences can ideally create a harmonized experience between teachers and students.
