Solution:-

A)

Type 1 Error:-

In statistical testing hypothesis a type 1 error is the rejection of a true null hypothesis.

Thta is reject он whenHO is true.

Type 2 Error:-

In statistical hypothesis testing a type 2 error is the accept of a false null hypothesis.

That is

Accept HO when он is false.

B)

To test:

он:P=0.6 Verses H1:P>0.6

n=300, and x=75,, and α = 0,01

2 p= n

75 300

P = 0.25.

The test statistic is :

P-P SE 20/23

Where S.E is

p(1-P) S.E n

¥0.6 +0.4 300

SE= 0.028

Under он

= 0.25 -0.6 0.028

2 = -12.464

2a/2 20.005) 2.576

Here z<z_{\alpha/2}

Therefore we may failed to reject он .
