HOME ECONOMICS - Teaching Home Science to a student plays an important role in today's Education system. First Introduced in 1800's these classes helped students to prepare for life. It is a field of study that deals with the relationship between individuals ,families, environment in which they live . It gives an opportunity to pursue  higher education and vocational training in a world specially for women.

Areas of Home Economics to be taught

1. Cooking - one of the earliest discipline in home Economic, it taught women how to cook a balance diet.

2. Child Development , how to rear children

3. Education and Community awareness, including Moral and ethical lesson

4. Budgeting and Economics - Students learn how to properly budget , balance and invest income

5. Sewingand textiles

6. Health and Hygiene - how to take care of sick family members.

IMPORTANCE-

1. It helps teens to develop skills in family financing , nutrition, cooking and other various skills for life

2. It builds responsibility, as it teaches teens to use the different techniques that they learned in class, in their home life

3. It help teens to grow up more responsible and more aware of how to take care of themselves in adulthood , and not to depend on parents for basic things
