This statement is true of every organization as it pertains to the functioning and operations of any organization and the responsibility of the organization to give back to the society whose resources have been consumed or utilized by the organization. Since every organization depends upon the environment in terms of human resources, raw materials and other environmental resources to provide products and services to its customers, hence the organizations use such resources to their advantage. It becomes the responsibility of all organizations to give back to the environment in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives which are aimed to give back to the society and the environment in general. This is how the organizations must be managed and aligned towards their environmental goals effectively and function responsibly.
