Relational transgression as we know is breaking the relational rules in both implicit and explicit form .There are a number of relational transgressions. The most common are written below

1. Sexual activity
2. Wanting to date another person

Let us choose sexual activity .This results in a number of issues in relationships and can result in termination of the relationship .

• Trust issues in the relationship
• Jealousy and other emotional factors which can lead to domestic violence .
• Relationship termination
• Legal lawsuits can also take place
• Emotional distress in one partner as it induces feelings of unfaithfulness .It can also results in mental health problems

This type of relational transgression can be difficult to forgive and most of the time it's not .It also depends on different dimensions . Like if a person is very self empathetic then the chances of forgiveness are high . Quality of relationship also increases the chances .In heavily invested relationships the chances become high.It also depends upon the social cognitive values .
