The video format of advertising is widely used 92% of B2B prospects consume online videos. There are four billion videos watched on social media sites every day. One-third of shoppers will purchase a product after watching a video online.
Three ways video format is used is as follows:
• Informing and educating users: Use of videos for sharing critical information and educating consumers. It can be effectively used on social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, and other relevant sites to generate audience interest in your product and services. Consumers like to share videos on Twitter, Facebook and will forward and comment on videos if they like them or troll if they are not liked. As many as 700 videos that are shared on Twitter every minute. The data can be analyzed and the content revised to match the consumer preference.
• Increase the advertising reach: Distribution videos touches a wide audience through social media and embedding videos on websites, posting on blogs, and on social media channels which is watched by 4 billion consumers every day. The videos are liked, and shares will determine what type of video to create and plan future campaigns. The content of the video can be modified and created to match the viewer's requirements. The videos can be shared and links forwarded. The information reaches the target audience quickly.
• Conveys a large amount of information in a short while: Chat groups enjoy watching video clips and will share and watch videos on mobile phones. The viewing of videos on chat groups has increased by 80%. Most people enjoy a short 30 seconds clip and will surely forward interesting videos to family and friends. This will generate higher viewership and convert to sales with a very limited budget as most sharing and forwarding is done by the audience without any incentive.
To conclude video format share important information, educate consumers, and touch all the senses of the consumer. It has a direct impact on sales as one-third shopper will buy after watching a video. It is the fastest way of converting viewers to customers. It is widely used by e-commerce sites like Amazon and eBay.
