p = Probability of each success = 3 / 10 = 0.3

q = Probability of each failure = 1 - p = 1 - 0.3 = 0.7

n = Total number of events = 6

r = Number of successful events

Using Binomial Distribution;

P(X=r) = nCr  pr q(n - r)

a) At least 3 hits in the game:

Here r  \geq 3

P( r \geq 3) = 1 - [ P(r = 0) + P(r = 1) + P(r = 2) ]

= 1 - [ 6C0(0.3)0(0.7)(6 - 0) + 6C1 (0.3)1(0.7)(6 - 1) +  6C2 (0.3)2(0.7)(6 - 2) ]

= 1 - [ 0.11765 +  0.3025 + 0.3241 }

= 1 - 0.74425

= 0.25575

b) At most 4 hits in the game:

P( r  \leq 4) = P(r = 0) + P(r = 1) + P(r = 2) + P( r = 3) + P( r = 4)
