Explanation:

Frequency, \nu = hc/\lambda

\lambda = wavelength

Hence, from the formula, frequency increases when wavelength decreases and vice-versa.

So when wavelength increases from 50 nm to 500 nm , the frequency will decrease in second case.

Frequency = hc / 50nm .......in first case

Frequency = hc/ 500 nm ......in second case

Hence case 2nd has lower frequency.
