We can detect outliers using IQR as well as Boxplot.

Outlier detection using IQR :

Any data points below the (first quartile - 1.5×IQR ) and above the (Third quartile + 1.5×IQR) is considered as outliers in the data.

eg. Here IQR= 94.75, first quartile Q₁= 28.5 and third quartile Q₃= 123.25 so data points below the (28.5-(1.5×94.75)) and (123.25+(1.5×94.75)) is considered as outliers.

Outlier detection using Boxplot :

Points on the Boxplot that are outside outside of the whiskers i.e. far away from the minimum or maximum.
