Answer #1

Question 3.

Volume= 300ml

Time = 6 hours

Flow rate in ml/hr = 300/6= 50ml/hr

Question 4.

Volume= 2liter= 2000ml

Time= 48 hours

Flow rate in ml / hr= 2000ml/48hr=41.66ml/hr

Question 5.

Volume= 100ml

Time= 30 min=30/60hr= 0.5hr

So flow rate in ml/hr=100ml/0.5hr=200ml/hr

Question 6.

Volume 1000ml

Time 36 hours

So ml/hr=1000ml/36hrs= 27.77ml/ hr

Question 7.

Volume=300ml

Time 4 hours

Ml/hr= 300/4= 75ml/hr

Question 8.

Volume=2500ml

Time = 48hours

Flow rate in ml/min= 2500/48= 52.08ml/hr

Question.9.

Volume=2500ml

Time 1 day= 24hours

Flow rate I'm ml/hr= 2500ml/24hr=104.16ml/hr

Question 13

Volume=300ml

Time=40min

Drip factor=20gtt/ml

So flow rate in gtt/min=( volume×drip factor)/Time

= (300×20)/40

= 150gtt/min

Question 14.

Volume 500ml

Drip factor 10gtt/ml

Time=5hours= 300minutes

Flow rate in gtt/min=( volume×drip factor)/Time

= (500ml×10gtt/ml)/300minutes

= 16.66 gtt/min

Question 15.

Volume=3 liter= 3000 ml

Time= 24 hours= 24×60= 1440 minutes

Drip factor= 10gtt/ml

Drip rate=( 3000×10)/1440= 20.83gtt/min

Question 16.

Volume= 650ml

Time = 6 hours= 360minutes

Drip factor= 10gtt/ml

Flow rate=( volume×drip factor)/time

=(650×10)/360= 18.05 gtt/min

Question 17.

Volume=15ml

Time=15minutes

Drip factor=15gtt/ml

Flow rate=( 15×15)/15=15gtt/min

Question 18.

Volume=0.5L = 500ml

Time= 6hours= 360min

Drip factor=30gtt/ml

Flow rate=(volume×drip factor)/time

=(500×30)/360= 41.66gtt/min

Question 19.

Volume= 0.4 liter=400ml

Time= 3 hours= 180minutes

Drip factor= 10

Flow rate= (400×10)/180= 22.22gtt/min

Question 20.

Volume=1500ml

Time=12hours= 720minutes

Drip factor=15gtt/ml

Flow rate in gtt/min=( volume×drip factor)/time

=(1500×15)/720=31.25gtt/min
