As the proton is a positively charged particle so the direction of current will be same as the direction of movement of proton.

Direction of current is due north, magnetic field in downward direction so by Fleming's left hand rule, the direction of magnetic force on proton comes to be due west. Hence the proton will be deflected in a direction to the west.
