here the voltage terminals of the wattmeter is connected in parallel to the source and the current coil terminals are connected in series. In fig shows the connection diagram

here the wattmeter measure the power delivered by the source

(why because Voltage coil terminals are connected across the source voltage- it measures the source voltage v(t) and the current coil is connected in series to the source therefore it measures the current delivered by the source i(t)  )

power measured by wattmeter = vs(t)*i(t)

coming to second one here source voltage is given that Vs (t)= 5*\tiny \cos (628.32t +\Theta )

2*pi*f =628.32

f= 628.32/(2*pi) = 100 Hz

Vpeak = 5 V
