Ans:- Given that the function g(x)=2x2+5x

g(x+a)=2(x+a)2+5(x+a)

=2{(x2+2xa+a2)}+5x+5a

=2x2+4xa+2a2+5x+5a

Then,

g(x+a)-g(x)={2x2+4xa+2a2+5x+5a}-{2x2+5x}

=2x2+4xa+2a2+5x+5a-2x2-5x

=4xa+2a2+5a

Hence,g(x+a)-g(x)=2a2+4xa+5a ans.
