Answer #1

slope intercept form of equation of a line is y=mx+c

here m is slope .

if (x1.y1) and (x2,y2) are two points on a line , then slope m is given by

\large m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

this line pass through (-2,-2) and (1,1) . so slope ia

\large m=\frac{1-^-2}{1-^-2}=1

so y=x+c

apply (1,1) to equation and find c

1= 1+c

c=1-1=0 . so equation of line is

y = x
