a. Bourgeoisie/ Proletariat

According to Philosopher Karl Marx, the bourgeoisie capitalists were the upper-class. This upper class used to function by controlling the means of production and labour. In modern terms, the lower class is called “The Establishment” Capital. The lower-class comprised the proletariat workers who lived by selling their labour. They can be comprehended as the Wage Earners. In modern terms, the lower class is recognized as  “The Common People.”
