Let's m1 = 2 kg, m2 = 3 kg

u1= 5m/s and u2 = 2 m/s

After collision speed of mass m2 = 3 kg -

v2 = ((m2-m1)u2 + 2m1u1)/(m1+m2)

= ((3-2)x2 + 2x2x5)/(3+2)

= 4.4 m/s

Speed = 4.4 m/s
