a): Total volume of column= pi×r^2×l=3.14×(0.80^2)×(20.0) cm^3= 40.2 cm^3= 40.2 ml

b): Volume is occupied by the stationary phase plus the solvent inside the pores of the stationary phase= 18.2 ml + 40.2 ml= 58.4 ml

c): Volume (pores)= (40.2 ml× 60/100)=24.1 ml

Hence, volume range is 0-24.1 ml
