5) The Area of the original rectangular plot will be Depth*Width

Here, Depth = 125'

Width=75'

Area = 125*75=9375 \ inch \ square

As per zoning restrictions,24.5' of depth and 6.25' of width need to be set back.That means that , the depth and width of the rectangular plot that can be actually used are as follows(we are subtracting the depth and width required to be set aside from the original depth and width)

Depth=125-24.5=100.5'

Width=75-6.25=68.75'

Area of rectangular lot that can actually be used =100.5*68.75=6909.375 \ inch \ square

Percentage of original area that can be used = (Area \ Used/Area \ of \ original \ lot) *100

=(6909.375/9375)*100=0.737*100=73.7\% of the original area can be used
