Answer #1

ANSWER=

(1) Lead(II) nitrate and magnesium sulfate solution are combined

Balanced molecular reaction: MgSO4(aq) + Pb(NO3)2 (aq) = Mg(NO3)2(aq) + PbSO4(s)

Total ionic reaction: Mg2+(aq) + SO42-(aq) + Pb2+ (aq) + 2NO3- (aq) = Mg2+(aq) + 2NO3- (aq) + PbSO4(s)

Net Ionic reaction: SO42-(aq) + Pb2+ (aq) = PbSO4(s)

(2)Barium metal is dropped into hydrochloric acid

Balanced molecular reaction: Ba(s) + 2HCl(aq) = BaCl2(aq) + H2(g)

Total ionic reaction:   Ba(s) + 2H+(aq) + 2Cl-(aq) = Ba2+(aq) + 2Cl-(aq) + H2(g)

Net Ionic reaction: Ba(s) + 2H+(aq) = Ba2+(aq) + H2(g)

(3)Potassium hydroxide solution reaction with nitric acid

Balanced molecular reaction: KOH(aq) + HNO3(aq) = KNO3(aq) + H2O(l)

Total ionic reaction: K+(aq) + OH-(aq) + H+(aq) + NO3-(aq) = K+(aq) + NO3-(aq) + H2O(l)

Net Ionic reaction: OH-(aq) + H+(aq) = H2O(l)
