Answer #1

1. Preferred Stock
Number of Shares = $5800000 / $1 = 5,800,000 shares

2. Common Stock
Number of Shares = $28000000 / $1 = 28,000,000 shares

3.
Common Stock = 28000 x $28 = $784000
Average Price of Preferred stock = ($1062400-784000) / 5800 = $48 per share

4.
Net Income = $286+28-248 = $66

5.
Average cost per share = $360000 / 12000 = $30 per share
