Answer #1

The calculation of the cost of goods sold for a manufacturing company is:

Beginning Inventory of Finished Goods. $4000

Add: Cost of Goods Manufactured. $43000

Finished Goods Available for Sale. =($4000+$43000) =$47000

Subtract: Ending Inventory of Finished Goods. ($2000)

Cost of Goods Sold. =cost of finished goods avaible for sale -ending inventory of Finished goods

=$47000-$2000

=$45000
