► Your team has been tasked with writing a new code of ethics for the company. You have been personally assigned to create the schedule for the project. A team member has suggested to copy another company’s code of ethics, word for word, to save time on the project. Another team member is distracted by games on his cell phone. One team member has suggested researching the components of a well-written company code of ethics, to gain a better understanding of the task at hand. All team members are disagreeing about the contents of the code of ethics.

A:- Importance of providing and receiving feedback from peers.

Importance of Providing Feedback:-

• 1. Feedback is always there
• If you ask someone in your organization when feedback occurs, they will typically mention an employee survey, performance appraisal, or training evaluation. In actuality, feedback is around us all the time.
• 2. Feedback is effective listening
• Whether the feedback is done verbally or via a feedback survey, the person providing the feedback needs to know they have been understood (or received) and they need to know that their feedback provides some value.
• 3. Feedback can motivate
• By asking for feedback, it can actually motivate employees to perform better.
• 4. Feedback can improve performance
• Feedback is often mistaken for criticism. In fact, what is viewed as negative criticism is actually constructive criticism and is the best find of feedback that can help to formulate better decisions to improve and increase performance.
• 5. Feedback is a tool for continued learning

Imprtance of Receving Feedback.

• Feedback keeps everyone on track, when done regularly. That’s beneficial for everyone involved in any type of activities: working on a project, preparing for an event, studying, etc.
• Feedback helps your team avoid major mistakes by creating a clear and honest communication flow during any kind of teamwork.
• You form better relationships with the people on your team by encouraging honest feedback. It often involves criticism, which is something most people aren’t comfortable with.
• Constructive feedback motivates people and boosts their performance. A friendly approach works well here.
• Feedback promotes personal and professional growth. Feedback is about listening actively, taking the time to analyze, and then thinking of the best possible solution to perform better.

B:-  By collaboration or team working we can easily recognize peers’ skills, experience, creativity, and contributions.Collaboration means working together with one or more people to complete a project or task or develop ideas or processes. In the workplace, collaboration occurs when two or more people work together towards a common goal that benefits the team or company. Workplace collaboration requires interpersonal skills, communication skills, knowledge sharing and strategy, and can occur in a traditional office or between members of a virtual team.

C:- We should disagree tactfulluy because if someone is not agree with your idea it may be hurt there feeling and demotivate him/her which directly effect in their work. So always dissagree with respect like this .

D:- Teamwork is the joint action of people working toward the same end goal. When people talk about teamwork, they mean more than just completing a task, however: they mean the work that comes from people working together effectively. The strength of a team comes from supporting each other, communicating well, and doing your share. Other characteristics that define a team include similar skills, autonomy, defined roles, defined leadership, and the resources to meet the joint goal. For example, imagine a group of people all pulling a rope. Not only do they share a goal, but they are using the same or similar skills. You perform team building exercises when your team needs to work on improving their role definitions or their communication skills. A team includes a designated authority figure who resolves their differences and makes decisions. Regardless of enmity between members, with a good leader, a team can accomplish their goals.

A collaborative team is a slightly different version of a traditional team because its members have differing skill sets. Although the members have varying areas of expertise, they still share similar goals, resources, and leadership. With their diverse set of specialized skills, they should be able to problem-solve as a group. The imagery of pulling the rope only applies when you rewind to the group who settled on pulling the rope in the first place. This group may have had an engineer explaining the mechanism of rope-pulling, a foreman deciding who would be on the rope-pulling team, and countless others defining their roles and using their expertise to solve the problem

If we do not understand others during team work or collaboration we can not achive our goals and there is always conflicts between team members.

Part 2.

First I try to understand who can do what, then i will give work according to their specialization I make schedule and give them proper time unnecessary using of phone is not allowed like playing in cell phone etc if someone disturbs other they will be fired from team after 2 warning. We also discuss about team plan where we can give and take feedback with other memeber. I choose someone who can write company code of ethics he can also see others company ethics code to save his time but he cannot copy word to word from other company codes. If someone is not agree with other they can say there view .
