The exemption from federal taxation of municipal bonds should not be eliminated. As it boosts the federal system and provides advantages to the communities of America. Such as:

It helps to lower the costs to fund government infrastructure and services. Hindering the ability to provide funds to important public services and infrastructure by tax-exempt financing would require other means of finance of reduction in services.

Tax exemption financing allows the local and state governments from yearly congressional appropriation method in funding the essential needs.

It allows streamlined access to the capital market.

Though the elemental beneficiaries of the issuance of bonds are the citizens of the issuing community. The nation will always have an ineterest to provide adequate public facilites to support the economy. By keeping the local adn state government borrowing costs low the nations interest is well served. It provides an encouragement for public investment in infrastructure and other amenities.
