Your landlord is a complete jerk. The house you’re renting desperately needs a fence around it . . . but the landlord won’t spring for it.
In frustration, you (the renter) give up and pay for the fence yourself, $750. But you’re so disgusted with your horrible landlord that you find a new place to live just a soon as your lease is up (six months later). Needless to say, the fence stays behind when you leave…
The FIT result to your landlord? Why? Would the result be any different if the landlord had agreed that you could deduct the $750 from your rent?
FIT results to landlord is rent of Six months and benefit of $750 as amount of fence is paid by us (renter).
If landlord is agreed for deduction of $750 from rent than FIT result to landlord would be amount of rent for next six months only
