With the large number of devices available and used by organizations and individuals, we produce large amount of data every day, which it has created many challenges to organizations to store and protect the data. Discuss some of the technology trends that currently exists for an organization to use in managing data.
An organization receives huge volumes of data that needs to be
processed, stored and properly managed so that valuable information
is identified and used to achieve the organizational goal. There
are some technology trends that can help the organization in
managing the data. The first technology trend is cloud technology
that is used to store, access and manage the data in the cloud that
not only gives speed to the processing and fast access to the data,
but also it brings necessary security to the data. With cloud
technology, the organization does not get the constraint of
managing the data in their own system. Rather, it is stored in the
cloud and can be accessed from anywhere. The second technology
trend is the application of HADOOP technology that has been
effectively used to process the large volume of data and provide
relevant information. It is the HADOOP technology and its java
based framework that solve the issue of big data collected at the
organizational level. The third technology trend is the use of JSON
in integration with the SQL that is getting very popular among the
database managers and developers who want to manage the data with
its effective usage in the organization.
