given formula is empirical formula

molar mass of empirical formula is C5H4

5 (12.01) + 4 (1.01) = 64.09 g/mol

just double the empirical formula

C10H8 = 2 x 64.09 = 128.18 = 128.2 g/mol

so molecular formula is C10H8
