Solution:

Channel Management decision are extremely crucial to ensure a steady delivery of services to the customers. Hence, the decisions need to be taken with the customer in the center of the discussion

1. Selecting Channel members:
Channel members for the apply pay service will be the payment gateway merchants and other financial institutions which facilitate the services of Apply Pay. The channelmembers will be selected based on the extent of similarity of the channel partner with the requirements of Apply pay division. The channel member prospects who match the expectations of the apply pay and are in line with the strategic vision of apple pay are the most apt for being the channel members.

2. Managing channel members:
Managing the channel members is an important task since they are directly involved with your business and any lack in quality is directly going to affect the brand image of Apple for its customers. Hence, Channel members need to be managed efficiently and appropriate contracts, agreements need to be discussed way before starting the business so as to avoid any mis understanding at the later stages.

3. Motivating Channel members:
Channel members can be motivated by implementing a strategy which is benefitial for both the Apple and channel partner. Revenue sharing is one way the channel members can be motivated to work hard and achieve the desirable success.

4. Evaluating Channel Members:
Channel members will be avaluated based on key metrics that have been defined at the start which can be the number of secure transactions, payment gateway downtime etc. Apple Pay can decide on the key metrics depending on the strategic vision of the firm.
