This is the objective of entropy coding. And it is mostly aimed for finding mostly happening symbols in that of the data stream as that of good candidates for the short codeword in a compressed bitstream.

One can use the variable length coding scheme which has the provided code and gets transmitted in a much quicker manner while where there is infrequently happening ones are provided with longer codes.

Entropy coding is a kind of lossless coding meant for compressing the digital data with regards to representing the frequency that happens as patterns as few bits which would be as rarely happening patterns with many more bits. There would be Huffman coding which would be a kind of entropy coding.
