k is torsional constant....=5 N-m/rad...

moment of inertia of two birds is I1 = 2*mb*r^2 = 2*mb*0.25^2
moment of inertia of disk is I2= (1/2)*md*r^2 = (1/2)*0.34*0.25^2 = 0.010625 kg.m^2...
I = I1+I2 = 2*mb*0.25^2+0.010625...

from equation (1)...
I = k/(4*pi^2*f^2) = 5/(4*3.142^2*3^2) = 0.015...
I=I1+I2...
0.015 = 2*mb*0.25^2+0.010625...

2*mb*0.25^2 = 0.004375...
mass of the bird mb = 0.004375/(2*0.25^2)=0.035 kg = 35g
