Ethyl ether is a non-polar molecule. It doesn't dissolve in water readily. However we have to keep in mind that ethyl ether has a bent structure (like water) and has a net polarity. However the degree of polarity is very very small to be considered the molecule a polar molecule. In reality no molecule is fully non-polar. If, however, the polarity is very low, we can consider the molecule as non-polar. The oxygen in ethyl ether doesn't form hydrogen bond which is a big indication that the molecule is fairly non-polar.

So finally we can conclude that ethyl ether is a non-polar molecule.
