Stereograph:
Definition:
Stereographs are defined as the pair of almost identical photgraphs when viewed by devices such as stereoscopes, that enables the viewer to observe the photographs simultaneously each by each eye, thus creating a parallax or better known as 3-D photogrammetric effects.
Working behind stereographs:
Stereographs, works on the principle of parallax that is a 3-D like percepation or visualization can be created if the same object is viewed by two different locations, in stereographs this can be achieved by viewing two almost similar photographs of the same place by making slight difference in observation, that is enabling each eye to observe each photographs to get a visualization of height of the captured area.
Tableaux Vivants
Tableaux Vivant can be defined as
a static scene containing one or more actors or models. They are stationary and silent, usually in costume, carefully posed, with props and/or scenery, and may be theatrically lit. It thus combines aspects of theatre and the visual arts.
A tableau may either be 'performed' live, or depicted in painting, photography and sculpture, such as in many works of the Romantic, Aesthetic, Symbolist, Pre-Raphaelite, and Art Nouveau movements.
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, tableaux sometimes featured poses plastiques ('flexible poses') by virtually nude models, providing a form of erotic entertainment, both on stage and in print.
Tableaux continue to the present day in the form of living statues, street performers who busk by posing in costume.
