How does confidence and integrity play into the environment of validity in research? Can you have one without the other?
Confidence and integrity play a significant part into the environment of validity in research. Integrity helps in proving the research the conclusions in a scientific way. It further ensures that the code of ethical conduct had been followed while undertaking the research. The research integrity also ensures the participants in the survey that it is optional for the participants to participate in the research survey and that they can drop out from the same at any point of time owing to whatever reason. The written consent for such participation, may also be important while undertaking the research to support the validity of the same. Hence integrity plays an important role into the environment of validity in research. Confidence, on the other side, is what the research could rightly vouch from the stakeholders of the research. Without confidence, even a valid research may not be a success. It needs to successfully reach out to the audiences.
Hence, we cannot have one without the other because it is integrity of the research work that gives rise to the confidence of the stakeholders. Without integration, the foundation of confidence eventually fails and therefore both are co-related to each other.
