Answer #1

Probability of dying if infected by the corona virus COVID-19 is 14.8% = 0.148

Since the Probability of dying if infected by the corona virus is constant and independent, X will follow Binomial distribution with parameters n = 15 and p = 0.148.

The probability distribution of X is,

P(X = x) = 15Cx * 0.148x * (1 - 0.148)15-x = 15Cx * 0.148x * 0.85215-x

Using the probability distribution , we calculated below probabilities.

x P(X = x)
0 0.09048861
1 0.2357802
2 0.2866998
3 0.2158101
4 0.1124644
5 0.04297935
6 0.01244316

9 0.000065222
10 0.0000067978
11 0.00000053675
12 3.107927 x 10-8
13 1.245864 x 10-9
14 3.091682 x 10-11
15 3.580352 x 10-13
