1. Work W=\overrightarrow{F}\cdot \overrightarrow{d} where F is force on object and d is displacement of object.

Examples- Pushing a box on table and box is displaced by this push, walking up stair, pulling a box on table and box is displaced, work done by friction force while box move on rough surface, shooting a target.

2. Heat- Solar energy (heat needed to plant and human) , heat of stove (it warm water), heat energy of water ( this heat melts ice when ice is kept in water), heat energy generated by component of smartphone when it is on.
