When making/doing calculations for phosphate buffer solution why is the "suffix" hydrate not written at the end for the salts but the molar mass of the waters are still included in the calculation?
For example, its written as Disodium hydrogen phosphate in the materials but 6H2O is not included at the end of the formula but we still include the molar masses of the water molecules in the calculation.
Since Disodium hydrogen phosphate exist in form of hexahydrated salt it is not written in the formula but while doing calculation we consider it , this problem is related with basic stoichiometry.
suppose we has x gm Na2HPO4.6H2O , to calculate moles we have to consider molar mass of complete hexahydrate salt , if we take only Na2HPO4 moles calculated will be greater than actual moles and will be erroneous.

Analysis 1. Calculate the molar masses of the reactants, sodium phosphate dodecahydrate (12 water molecules are included), and barium chloride dihydrate. (2 water molecules are included) 2. Write the balanced equation for the reaction of the two salts (do not include the waters of hydration). 3. Calculate the molar masses for the two products. 4. Based upon your data in part B, identify the limiting reagent. Justify your answer. CHEM 1314 - General Chemistry I Lab Lab 6 - Limiting...

report.
This is the lab experiment and results:
This is a guide to making the lab report:
General Biology BIO121 Yeast Fermentation Lab Introduction Organisms stay alive by the utilization of energy through metabolism. The energy acquiring pathways in photosynthesis convert radiant energy from the sun into the chemical bond energy of carbohydrates. This photosynthetic process is limited to the producers or autotrophs, which include plants, photosynthetic bacteria and some protists....
10. Write a one-page summary of the attached paper? INTRODUCTION Many problems can develop in activated sludge operation that adversely affect effluent quality with origins in the engineering, hydraulic and microbiological components of the process. The real "heart" of the activated sludge system is the development and maintenance of a mixed microbial culture (activated sludge) that treats wastewater and which can be managed. One definition of a wastewater treatment plant operator is a "bug farmer", one who controls the aeration...
