Since ABCD is a parallelogram, its opposite angles are equal (property of parallelogram)

Hence, angle(B) = angle(D)=(x+52) and angle (A) = angle(C)=3x

now we know that sum of all interior angles of a parallelogram is= 360

so, angle(A)+angle(B)+angle(C)+angle(D)=360

3x+(x+52)+3x+(x+52)=360

8x+104=360

8x=256

x=32

Hence, angle(A)=3x=3*32=96

so,option B is correct.
