This is impossible;

note that liters is a measurment of VOLUME

which has the magnitude of

V = [l]^3

length, to the 3rd power

dm is a measurement of lenght

the only way to convert this to volume is via

dm --> dm^3

that is

1 dm^3 = 1 L

dm^6 is actually not a measurment of liters

We could manipualte the maths and assume:

(1 dm^3)^2 = (1 L)^2

then

1 dm^6 = 1 L^2

But this is the only way
