Answer (1) NO. Older adults are not depicted frequently in advertisments. Comparatively, in majority of advertisements, you can find kids, young boys and girls, young men and women.

(b) food products

(c) Insurance products

(3) How are older adults depicted in these articles?

Answer: (a) Younger people are seen instructing them

(b) rarely any interpersonal roles given to them

(c) They are shown needing certain age retarding products

(4) Are any age related stereotypes presented in articles?

Answer: (a) They are shown having medical problems

(b) They are shown old-fashioned

(c) In clothing, personal care & cosmetics products they are not featured due to prevailing stereotype that old people are old fashioned.

(d) they are thought as "poor copy" - people will not copy from their advertisements.
