List the important components of action plans. Which component do you think is the most important? The least important? Explain your response.

Unit action plans should define the actions required to achieve each goal, determine the costs and revenues associated with each goal, set a timeline for each task and delegate responsibility for carrying out each task. Each of these components is important and it flows logically from one to the other. It is counterproductive to do one without any of the others because both are important to achieving unit objectives.
