WHAT DETERMINES WHERE CIVILIZATIONS BEGIN AND HOW DO THEY ORGANIZE?
The predominant reason for the advent of civilization and for their subsequent sustainability as well as their perforation in to other parts, one word: Survival and sustenance of the human race by the aid of catering to the basic human needs.
Humans need food, water, ad shelter from the weather as well as the wild animals in order to survive and sustain their being. This was the simple reason that led to the beginning of civilizations as we know it.
The need for land conducive for cultivation in order to grow crops, led them to settle - in bulks - in areas with fertile soil, and for the purpose of irrigation as well as water, these places were found across water bodies to sustain the people. This led to clustering which eventually led to the genesis of a systematic system and thus a civilization. And this then leads to the organization of a given civilization as these resources need to be distributed with equanimity kept in mind, which leads to the construction of a well formed and rounded way of living.
