Baldrige criteria assessment helps in planning and measuring performance in an uncertain environment. This helps in aligning resources to methodologies that improves productivity and achieve strategic goals.

This criteria can be applied to the whole organization or even a small division of it. For our case let us take any delivery account of a system integration company like TCS,IBM etc. These organizations are directly linked to clients/customers. From design, development to implementation, it is always the customers need that drives these decisions. Multiple projects run across the different division and geographies that need collaboration . So the challenges faced by these organizations are diverse and complex. Even for any deviation of results they might incur loss from the client. Reliability, productivity are top concerns for the managers. so for all these factors it is an ideal candidate for Baldrige.

usually these companies have matrix organization structure. There are multiple teams like Development, testing, Business analyst, project management that have their functional managers . Each functional department has the team member, Team leads, Delivery managers, Senior Delivery managers, Delivery Executives etc. Also parallelly they also have many projects running at the same time where the team members have different project managers assigned for each project. The size of each account can be around 400 to 2000 depending on the size of the client.
