clay disk at A. The disk is initially connected to slender rod ABC
at point A and is released once the rod rotates 90 deg as shown.
Rod ABC has a mass of 0.1slug. Disk A has a mass of 0.025slug and
should be treated as a thin circular disk with a radius of 2in in
this problem. If the free length of the spring is 1in, find the
linear spring rate required to launch the clay pigeon at 90ft/s.
Assume ABC starts from a rest. Gravity is perpendicular to the page
(i.e. it has no effect on this problem).
