A DCF analysis is used to value a company in quantitative terms. However, various firm-specific factors which may be qualitative or quantitative may force us to change the assumptions and follow the DCF model in a different way. These models may be called as Modified DCF models where the expected cash flows as well as Discount rates are adjusted for firm specific factors like default risk. Various modified DCF analysis can be done for this purpose and multiple goals can be served,
