IN JAVA
Design and code a class hierarchy that demonstrates your understanding of inheritance and polymorphism. Your hierarchy should contain at least 5 classes and one driver program that instantiates each type of object and runs multiple methods on those objects. Inheritance and Polymorphism must be apparent in the project. Please keep in mind that polymorphism was in chapter 37, so you will need to have read both chapters to understand what goes into this project.
Bonus if you add an interface and implement it in your hierarchy.
We need at least 10 more requests to produce the answer.

User Define Object Assignment:
Create a Intellij Project. The
Intellij project will contain three user defined
classes. The project will test two of the User Define Classes by
using the invoking each of their methods and printing the
results.
You are required to create three UML...
Java code for the following inheritance hierarchy figure..
1. Create class Point, with two private
instance variables x and y that represented for the coordinates for
a point.
Provide constructor for initialising two instance variables.
Provide set and get methods
for each instance variable,
Provide toString method to return formatted
string for a point coordinates.
2. Create class Circle, its inheritance from
Point.
Provide a integer private
radius instance variable.
Provide constructor to
initialise the center coordinates and radius for...
Java assignment. There are five classes. You figure out the inheritance hierarchy. Animal, Dog, Brindle, Cat, Driver Note: Brindle is a kind of dog that has stripes The following classes will have a makeSound method that displays the kind of sound the animal makes. Animal, Dog, Cat In the Brindle class, you will have an instance variable noOfStripes One of the classes should have an instance variable to hold the name of the animal Name One of the classes should...
JAVA: Quadrilateral Inheritance Hierarchy Write an inheritance hierarchy for classes Quadrilateral, Parallelogram, Rectangle, and Square. Use Quadrilateral as the superclass of the hierarchy. Create and use a Point class to represent the points in each shape. Make the hierarchy as deep as possible, i.e. more than two levels. Specify the instance variables and methods for each class. The private instance variables of Quadrilateral should be the x-y coordinate pairs for the four endpoints of the Quadrilateral. A program that instantiates...
This question is designed to test your understanding and application of inheritance, composition, polymorphism, exceptions and file handling. You are required to write classes representing a taxi fleet made up of cars and vans. Section A You are to write three classes named Fleet, Car and Van, to represent the fleet of a taxi company. An Fleet object is composed of upto 5 Car objects and 2 Van objects. In addition to the methods specified below you are free to place...
Lab 1: InheritanceTest Write a program called InheritanceTest1.java to support an inheritance hierarchy for class Point–Square–Cube. Use Point as the superclass of the hierarchy. Specify the instance variables and methods for each class. The private data of Point should be the x-y coordinates, the private data of Square should be the sideLength, and the private data of Cube should be depth. Provide applicable accessor methods, mutator methods, toString() methods, area() method, and volume() method to all classes. Write a program...

Question 3: The payment transaction scenario could be represented by the following hierarchy: Payments VISA MASTERCARD Paypal Create Payments as a superclass and VISA, MASTERCARD, PAYPAL as subclasses Create an interface PaymentsInterface with one method called payment Info. Create classes VISA, MASTERCARD, PAYPAL that implement Payments For each of the three classes (VISA, MASTERCARD, PAYPAL), create one constructor Constructors are used to create objects with initial balance with US dollars (USD). The interface class method "paymentinfo" should be overridden...
Purpose: To write an Object-Oriented application using abstraction, inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism to handle an inheritance structure of various shapes. Details: Implement the following Shape hierarchy: a box around each shape name and arrows pointing to the shape from each (Circle, Square, Triangle) Shape Circle Square Triangle Use the following as a guide: The Shape class should be abstract and contain two abstract methods: getArea – Which calculates the area of the shape and returns that value as a...
You are given a specification for some Java classes as follows. A building has a number of floors, and a number of windows. A house is a building. A garage is a building. (This isn’t Florida-like … it’s a detached garage.) A room has a length, width, a floor covering, and a number of closets. You can never create an instance of a building, but every object that is a building must have a method that calculates the floor space,...
Java Lab
In this lab, you will be implementing the following class hierarchy. Your concrete classes must call the superclass constructor with the proper number of sides (which is constant for each concrete shape). The perimeter method is implemented in the superclass as it does not change based on the number of sides. The area method must be overridden in each subclass as the area is dependent on the type of polygon. The areas of an equilateral triangle, square, and...
