In order to change the societal images of women in menopause and aging women, it is important to spread awareness on the achievements that has been made possible by these women, defying and taking advantage of their age as an asset rather than a liability. Older women has been negatively stereotyped in many ways, including ways in which their efficiency as a contributor to the society has been limited. In addition to this, community resources for older women must also be mobilized so as to ensire support and empowerment.
